When I feel overwhelmed by all the dark and heavy stuff going in the world, my mind runs wild. It’s easy to feel anxious and frustrated and I think those feelings are okay if they begin moving us toward change but very quickly I find myself longing for peace. I turn to God and lay down my worries, praying for strength or courage to face what is ahead. It’s only when I take a step back from the world and reconnect with Holiness that I finally find peace.
